Has a solution been found regarding gdb on Sierra?

I just updated today to Sierra 10.12.4 and I still have the problem discussed here, with this message, when I debug

During startup program terminated with signal ?, Unknown signal.

Another somewhat annoying issue that has popped up in recent dev builds is that code completion just becomes turned off randomly throughout the day (i.e. unchecked) and requires that you select it several times before it remains checked for a while. Context menu items often become un-selectable and your have to try a several times to select an item.
