Issue when I try to write numbers

Bear 13
Hi Netbeans staff, I downloaded Netbeans 8.2 from your official site and there is an issue, when I try to write numbers, the IDE writes letters instead of the number I have pressed. For instance: when I try to write a 0, Netbeans puts a M; when I try to write a 3, Netbeans puts a A. this is really annoying because I need numbers to program. I tried to downgrade Netbenas but nothing changes. I Use a JDK 8 and netbeans 8.2 as I mentioned before. Thanks for reading this e-mail, I am looking forward to your response.

Have you tried the same in another program; e.g. a text editor? Are you
using a laptop? did you check if Num Lock is activated?

Where are you entering your numbers from? Along the top of your normal keyboard, or at a keypad to the side of your keyboard?

If the latter, I think your numlock is off (the "zero" key scan-code is a NULL character followed by the letter M by memory); but even if it is, this is still odd. Try from another application as suggested because it could be a way your operating system is mapping keys.
