How to skip tests with gradle build

I tried using "Execute Custom Tasks" with "clean build" in Tasks, "-x test" in Arguments. However, when executed I got this error:

Task ' test' not found in root project 'MyProject'. Some candidates are: 'test'.

Using arguments as separately "-x" and "test", each on separate line.

I used "Custom Tasks" to create new task, but now I cannot edit or delete it. Can it be done?
