Fwd: How can we deploy combined JARs into single JAR in distribution

Hi,

I'm new to NETBEANS macOS user,

How can we combined JARs i.e with external JARs with our main application JAR

into Single deployment for distribution using NETBEANS IDE

I don't think Netbeans has a built-in capability to do that, but you can simply write an ant target that does this - unjar all the jars that make up your application into a temporary directory and then re-jar everything.  You might want to look into licensing-related restrictions though - especially for commercial jars (but even for free stuff, the authors ask for inclusion of some files to give attribution - and those files may have the same names from jar to jar and they'd overwrite each other as you unjar).
